    This five-day course describes how to implement a data warehouse platform to support a BI solution. Students will learn how to create a data warehouse with SQL Server 2016 and Azure SQL Data Warehouse, to implement ETL with SQL Server Integration Services, and to validate and cleanse data with SQL Server Data Quality Services and SQL Server Master Data Services.

  • 20768 Developing SQL Data Models
    This three-day course is aimed at database professionals who fulfil a Business Intelligence (BI) developer role. This course looks at implementing multidimensional databases by using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and at creating tabular semantic data models for analysis with SSAS.

  • 55123 Writing Reports with Report Builder and SSRS Level 1
    In this two-day course, students will continue their learning on the foundations of report writing with SQL Server Report Builder and SSRS.

  • 55128 Writing Reports with Report Builder and SSRS Level 2
    In this two-day course, students will continue their learning on the foundations of report writing with SQL Server Report Builder and SSRS.

Data Analyst

  • 20779 Analyzing Data with Excel
    This three-day course gives students the ability to add BI techniques to Excel data analysis. The course goes beyond the capabilities of tables and charts and uses Pivot Charts, the Excel Data Model, and Power BI.

Data Scientist

Data Scientists typically have a bachelor's degree in statistics, math, computer science, or economics and utilize their analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to develop data-driven solutions. Data scientists have a wide range of technical competencies, including: statistics, coding languages, databases, machine learning, and reporting technologies.

    This five-day course will give students a good understanding of the Transact-SQL language, which is used by all SQL Server-related disciplines; namely, Database Administration, Database Development, and Business Intelligence.

  • 20774 Perform Cloud Data Science with Azure Machine Learning
    This five-day course will give students the ability to analyze and present data by using Azure Machine Learning, and to provide an introduction to the use of machine learning with big data tools, such as HDInsight and R Services.

  • Python With Data Science
    This two-day course covers theoretical and technical aspects of using Python in Applied Data Science projects and Data Logistics use cases.

Focus on R Programming

  • Introduction to R Programming
    This two-day course will help students learn the practical aspects of the R programming language. The course is supplemented by many hands-on labs which allow attendees to immediately apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

  • 20773 Analyzing Big Data with Microsoft R
    The main purpose of this three-day course is to give students the ability to use Microsoft R Server to create and run an analysis on a large dataset, and show how to utilize it in Big Data environments, such as a Hadoop or Spark cluster, or a SQL Server database. This course will also help prepare students for one of the exams required to earn the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Machine Learning certification.

Database Administrator (DBA)

A Database Administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both back-end data structure and front-end accessibility for end-users.

    This five-day course provides students who administer and maintain SQL Server databases with the knowledge and skills to administer a SQL server database infrastructure. Additionally, it will be of use to individuals who develop applications that deliver content from SQL Server databases.

Database Developer

Database Developers are responsible for data gathering before development of a database. They design, develop, test, implement and maintain new and existing databases. Database developers create management methods and systems to access efficiently to information stored in databases.
